Perez Hilton & Kanye West Blogs
Vancouver, BC - Frontside's online marketing team is pleased to announce that Colin Munroe's re-interpretation of Kanye West's song Flashing Lights has secured several massive online features in the past twenty-four hours. Ottawa based Munroe recently put his own spin on Kanye West's current single and the new indie-pop minded version turned out so well that Munroe quickly cut a video to accompany the track. With a bit of behind the scenes maneuvering the video found itself in the hands of West himself who fell in love with it and posted it on his critically acclaimed blog "Kanye Universecity" on Tuesday night (January 23).

Frontside Client State of Shock Hit Top 10 at Radio with "Money Honey"
Just after wrapping up a national tour with Nickelback and an opening slot for Aerosmith, Vancouver rockers State of Shock are seeing their hard work pay off with a Top 10 hit at Canadian Rock Radio. "Money Honey," the first single from State of Shock's sophomore release Life, Love + Lies hit #9 on the R&R Canadian Rock Radio chart and #10 on the BDS Rock Radio chart this week after over 15 weeks on the chart. In addition, "Money Honey," is starting to "cross-over" to Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR) and Hot Adult Contemporary (Hot AC) radio in Canada at #23 and #40 respectively.
The song is currently the #6 "Most Played Song" by a Canadian artist (all formats) in Canada with a whopping 770 spins per week and a combined estimated audience to date of more than 32 million.
State of Shock's success, while dramatic, is no surprise to their record label head. Alfie Williams, Cordova Bay's Director said, "When I first heard "Money Honey" I knew it was a hit, but it's wonderful to see the fantasy become a reality. This really gives me a reason to believe."
And the story doesn't end there; in fact it's just getting started. State of Shock have just completed the video for "Money Honey" and they currently sit on the iTunes Singles Chart at #14. Add to that, a fall tour in the works and it looks like State of Shock are going to be around for quite some time.
