Frontside Management act BISON signs to Metal Blade Records
Metal Blade Records is very pleased to announce the signing of Vancouver Canada's BISON, a band just as heavy as the beast they are named after. When Bison took its first step amps were scorched and drums were smashed. Born of the ashes of seminal Vancouver skate-thrash band S.T.R.E.E.T.S., Bison are every headbanger's dream. Their riffs are colossal and flow like a mighty river into a sea of fuzzed out shredding. Their message is punk rock angst and revolution, with the occasional nod to white wizards, the king of swine and a mythical beast called the "Stokasaurus". Their debut album Earthbound captured their massive live sound on tape, garnering international recognition and a deal with Metal Blade Records. BISON is currently recording their Metal Blade debut Quiet Earth with Jesse Gander (3 Inches of Blood, Subhumans, Mass Grave, S.T.R.E.E.T.S.) at The Hive Studios in Burnaby, BC and are currently slated for a fall 2008 release...

Frontside America is proud to welcome two new staff members to our New York office!
Thanhyen Nguyen has joined our Online Marketing division and will also be working to help us find and develop talent in the New York market. Thanh is a long time friend of Frontside's and previously lived in Texas. He had previously worked on our Canadian Blast campaign at SXSW in years past. Upon relocating to New York he worked in online marketing for The Knitting Factory until we were able to scoop him back up. We're incredibly happy to have him as a part of the team.
Samantha Laserson has joined us as a Commercial Radio Analyst. She is uniquely Frontside in that she is originally from Vancouver.... but living in New York! She comes to us from stints working with EMI/Capitol, Cornerstone and Vice. She will be working with Gary McDonald and Mark Kesten to help our team effectively analyze and identify opportunities for our commercial radio clients.
Please help us welcome Thanh and Samantha. We're proud to have them as part of the team!
